August 16 and 17 email from Shane

Last night for supper ,we had hamburgers and they were very good.
I went and checked out my can to see where I will be staying.
Then I had to go to PAD 11 from 1900 to 0030 (7:00 P.M. to 1230 A.M.) so I didn't have time to move anything yet.
Me and Duiett got ready and head off to PAD 11, which isn't very for from where our company area is.
Would you believe MY luck and the 5 Ton broke down on us on the way to the PAD last night?
So we had to come back and get a track to take out there.
So instead of having a nice soft seats to set in with A/C, we had to sit on top of a very hot track (113 APC).
So it made the shift a little longer than it would have been in the nice soft cool 5 ton. Oh well.
We finished our shift last night or this morning ever how you want to look at it with no problems. Got back and we decided to go a head and take the 5 ton on to maintenance where they could work on it first thing this morning, so as soon as we got off, we took care of that.
I went to bed and got up about 6:00 this morning to start packing all the crap I had.
I decided real quick it was time to throw some stuff away. May did I ever.
I had three bags worth of stuff that I threw away.
I have no idea why I was holding on to that stuff for.
But I got everything moved over to my new can and got everything set up before 10:00 this morning.
I thought that was pretty good seeing how I still had a lot of crap. My roommate is out at Dog Patch today so he hasn't had time to move his stuff in.
Tomorrow while I am at Dog Patch, he will be moving in and having to can to himself.
So everything is going great here.
I am glad to be out of the tent and in the can. Maybe I will not eat so much dust now.
Got to go, OP 3 is waiting on me, I have it today with SPC Jackson.
Thanks for the pictures of the boys I like them they were great.
By the way when you get a chance and have some extra money send me some more sheets and pillow cases please. And a little darker that white. But wash them before you send them please, because if they fad it will get all over everything because things don't get separated here in the wash.
And send me so jalapeno and cheese dip please.
