Is this not cute? Drew made this hat at Mother's Morning Out yesterday. I was really surprised that he wore it. He will be two on September 22nd!!
I heard from Shane today. He is fine, he has been out in the field the last couple of days. He has not been on the internet because he is trying to let the guys who are trying to contact their family, get on the internet. Please keep these guys in the 150th B Company in your prayers, some of them lost everything when Katrina hit our state last week. To see videos of the MS Gulf Coast, go to www.wlbt.com or www.sunherald.com. It seems that IRAQ is safer right now than New Orleans. Thank God, our Governor realized the seriousness of this storm and prepared our coast in time.
We are on the last leg of Shane's tour. We are 'wishful thinking' that he will be home in time for Christmas, but I know that probably won't happen. We have about 90 more days.
He is not going to believe his baby is grown into a little boy who says sentences and actually communicates with you. He better rest up, because there are two anxious boys awaiting his return and they are ready to RUMBLE!! We love you Daddy!!! Blake and Drew.
